The BEE Program is built around something simple and powerful: Educators open their worlds to one another.

You'll be paired with an educator from Brazil or Uruguay.
Your subject area may be similar—or completely different. What matters most is the opportunity to connect, learn, and share.

Your exchange partner comes to the United States and experiences your life as an educator.
They may visit your school, meet your colleagues and students, spend time with your family, and experience the places and routines that make up your everyday life.

Travel to your partner's country, experience their community, visit schools, and see education and culture through a completely different lens.

"Cross-cultural experiences are more critical now than ever before for teachers and students. We are grateful here at Parke Heritage High School, that our very own Spanish teacher, Patty, was able to be a part of the BEE (Bilateral Educator Exchange Program) and that our students were also able to experience and interact with another teacher from a different culture through this program.
